Community Thrive uses donor funds to offer career coaching services and additional resources to at-risk youth, many of whom have backgrounds in foster care or the juvenile justice system. These initiatives aim to change their trajectory and set them on a path toward success.
The young people we serve face considerable obstacles affecting their success in education, relationships, job attainment, and health. Our efforts positively impact individual lives and contribute to the well-being of the communities we support. The teams within the Community Thrive program function as customized social service “Task Force” units, specifically tailored to meet the individual needs of our clients.
Every team collaborates closely with a limited number of young clients, tailoring their support and services intensively to meet individual needs. This approach ensures client-driven, customized assistance and may encompass a combination of the following:
Social Worker/Case Manager
They lead the group, coordinates and manage services provided to the client in and outside of our organization.
Career Coach
They supports individuals by offering personalized guidance in exploring career paths, setting achievable goals, enhancing professional skills, and navigating the job market effectively. They empower individuals to align their aspirations with suitable careers, develop the necessary skills, and secure opportunities for career growth and advancement.
Parent Partner Coach
They offers personalized support, guidance, and education to empower parents in navigating challenges, developing effective parenting strategies, and fostering stronger connections with their children, thereby building confidence and creating a nurturing environment for their children’s growth and well-being.
Neurodivergent Coach
They provides comprehensive support by fostering self-acceptance, helping individuals understand their unique neurodivergent traits, developing tailored strategies and skills to navigate daily challenges, and offering guidance through life transitions, empowering them to thrive in various aspects of life while embracing their neurodiversity.
